Tie a Knot

When using these beautiful silk-screened papers, I like to keep the design simple, making the speciality paper the star. I painted the wooden stick matte black and tightly wound some gold wire around it.  The Mizuhiki cord is tied into a Clamshell Knot (which I learned how to do from this book).
